The Mediterranean Games will take place in Tarragona in 2017. This event requires a  covered stadium where it will take place the main events. This building should host 15.000 people, foreseeing that international authorities and athletes require special access and spaces.

We consider the roof the main element of the project for it's structural importance and the visual impact that cause in the whole building. To hold this roof, we think of five main beams of variable wide,with a maximunm widness at the center, the weakest point. This variable depth allows the roof to pick different directions along its lenght, making possible to reach natural illumination from different orientatons
